IX. EXTENDED SCHOOL SERVICES (E.S.S.)
E.S.S. is before and after school day care for St. Mary School students in grades K through 6. Pre – K and junior high students may be allowed with prior approval and arrangement.
Paid morning care begins at 7:15 a.m. and concludes at 7:50 a.m. Any student arriving at school between those times will go directly to the auditorium for morning care. When students arrive at school, they will be signed in on a log sheet. These log sheets are the basis for billing before school E.S.S. Parents/guardians will be charged a family rate per day for the morning care.
After school care runs from 3:00 p.m. until 5:15 p.m. Parents/guardians must register students for this program at the school office. Students are signed in upon arrival by the E.S.S. supervisor. When students are picked up, the parent/guardian signs the student out and checks the time on the log sheet. These log sheets are the basis for billing after school E.S.S. Parents/guardians are charged an hourly rate, per student. This rate is published at the beginning of each school year.
E.S.S. bills will be sent once a month in the family envelope and are due within twenty days of receipt of bill. If a parent/guardian does not pay the bill within twenty days, without prior arrangements, the student may not attend E.S.S. until payment is made.
Student behavior in E.S.S. will be consistent with the school conduct code of St. Mary School, including playground rules. Students who do not meet these standards may be asked to refrain from attending E.S.S.
