St. Mary School 100 Year Celebration

The year 2026 marks a full century since students moved from the St. Rose Academy building into the current St. Mary School building at the corner of 5th and H Streets. Our steering committee of school staff, alumni, and parishioners have planned an all-day celebration for Saturday, September 19, 2026 and everyone is invited!

Here is the agenda for the day:
 

11 am - Mass with Archbishop Etienne, St. Mary Church

12 -3 pm- Open House (tours, food, memorabilia), St. Mary School

5 - 8 pm - Celebration Dinner, St. Mary Parish Center
 

No RSVP is needed, except for the Celebration Dinner, which will be a ticketed event due to space limitations. Stay tuned for ticket information coming soon.

Our main focus now is getting the word out to as many former SMS students, staff, clergy, and other supporters as possible so we can make sure everyone is invited. You can help us by sharing your own information and that of anyone else who might not be on our list. You can submit information in writing to the school, or fill out our online form here. If you already receive our school newsletter and other mailings, then you are on our list and will receive an invitation as the event gets closer.
