Our SPIRIT Auction preparation continues. The next auction meeting is scheduled for March 21st at 7:00pm.

Remember Our Goals!

  • Raise over $100,000
  • Have 55 premier live auction items
  • Have 150 stellar silent auction items
  • Have FUN!

Remember to save the date April 14th for the auction.

Set-up will be April 13th and 14th. Plan to work a shift one of these days

Three things all families should do:

  • Procure – at least one item per family, plus four other items from family friends etc.
  • Provide sponsorship or provide names of potential sponsors to Steve Berglund or Suzy Donovan.
  • Sign-up to work on an Auction Committee

The Lemon Drop party is a go! Two years ago the Flip Flop Lemon Drop Party was a huge success. It was decided that this event will be held again If you are new the Lemon Drop Party was an opportunity for 'Ladies Night Out' – each woman bid $50 to attend the party. In addition four bartenders spots will be sold to highest bidders. If you would like to volunteer to work on this Suzy Donovan and Susan Ruyle are the chairs.

Something new we are going to adopt is The Golden Ticket. 100 tickets will be sold for $50 each. Each ticket holder will have a chance for their ticket to be drawn. The drawn ticket holder will have their pick of any live auction item prior to the start of the live auction.

Specialty Art – in 2005 the specialty Art Item was very successful. In the Live Auction the five pottery pieces netted about $2,500. Robin Gumaelius will be preparing pieces for the auction.

Center PiecesDebbie Windell is looking for a source for the center pieces. Two years ago the Drake/Windell families sponsored 10 hand blown glass vessels that sold at the end of the evening. Unfortunately the artist is no longer available. Any ideas can be passed on to Debbie Windell at 532-2790.
